The Swing Band is a select group of boys and girls chosen from members of the band. Mr. Miller is the leader of this swinging group. He chooses students for the Band. The Swing Band plays after concerts, and for certain activities around school. Do you like singing? The Majorettes are a group of girls who perform at such ac- tivities as the Band Concert and street parades. The 5 girls are chosen for their ability to twirl and march and on their appear- ance. Carol Maines, head major- ette, did an excellent job of put- ting her girls through their paces. FRONT ROW: Marti Ooyevaar, Carol Maines, Bar- bara Smith. Al- though the Drill is smaller this year than it has been in the past, they have done an excellent job of performing.
