FIRST AND SECOND GRADES Our room m the begmmng was a dlvlsxon of the largest enrollment 111 Mrs Larson s and Mass Bahrs rooms We had ID m the hrst grade and I4 m the second grade making 29 ln all The last part of November owmg to the crowded condltlons ln Miss Maxwell s room slx of her A class puplls were transferred to our room malung 35 Others have come and gone dunng the year and our largest enrollment has been 37 We have had various contests to make our work more mterestmg and most of the puprls have done excellent work Betty Franks and Carol Bemenderfer are the second graders who have perfect attendance and Buddy Smith has the best record for the first grade having been absent only one day We have enjoyed having so many vlsltors durxng the year lt helps a lot to know our parents are Interested m the work we are doing We have glven several short programs and hope you all enjoyed them as much as we dnd gwmg them It helps us so much for work along that hne tn later years.
