WELL, JUST WAIT AND SEE The Senior year is always the merriest, but the class of '24 went so far as to make it the merriest year that has ever been spent in Centennial. Thy stood the highest in scholarship. Adam and Eva, 'Class night, Senior dance, Memorial and Kid day will not be easily forgotten. 'Their officers were most judi- cious. The scholarship contest, which they introduced, will be carried on by the coming classes. The 1924 Junior-lSenior fthanks to you, Juniorsj will never be for- gotten by those 103 Seniors whose gaiety was clouded at times by the thought of leaving it all. And in the coming years, when each and every one of us has gone out striving to do his best and success gleams so faintly and so far away, let us hope that the lessons learned in Centennial will be sufficient to goad us on till we have risen slightly above the crowd and done something for which Centennial may be proud. The class can never thank Miss Cunningham enough for her wise and thoughtful guidance during the last two years. The officers were: President ,,,,,,.......,,.,.....,. .......... Within one week they made a name for themselves by being reprimanded five times in three assemblies for behavior. nd thus they started on the long road of education, famous in one line, if not in ano her. :ls They showed their good judgement in electing Ruth Lyons to the staff, and there she has remained for four years as staff artist. During this year' the class brought Josef Ronecny to Centennial in a performance that pleased all who heard him. They elected to the Staff Margaret Wilson and Harold Chivington, Maurice Douglas was chosen as assistant business manager. We all leave our secrets in our career, but through the whole year this class was noted for getting everything they could out of lessons and pleasures. BOOK III--PERIOD OF FLIPPANCY 3: The Junior period proved to be one of the most successful years on record. The Junior class was represented by the most popular girl. A Junior acted as queen of the Circus, and as a pleasing climax, the JunioreSenior was said to 'be the finest ever at Centennial. In the midst of all their good times their scholarship was kept at the very top. They elected as Staff members during the Junior year: Jack Meigs, Norman McLeod and Eunice Gardner.
