ALPHA SIGMA CHI Alpha Sigma Chi, honorary chemistry fra- ternity, was founded on Centenary campus by Dr. John B. Entrikin. Membership is limit- ed to advanced chemistry students who have a B average in chemistry and the unani- mous approval of the members. Its purpose is to stimulate interest in the field of chem- istry. Alpha Chi is a national scholastic fraternity for upperclassmen. It requires a 2.7 over all average. Since its founding on the campus in 1925, the chapter has done much to en- courage students to strive for scholastic ex- cellence.
