The principal purpose of the Men ' s Intramural Council is to present a wide and varied athletic program for all men not participating in varsity sports. A well planned schedule for competition in four major and four minor sports has been carried forward with much success. The Council, through the success- ful planning of the intramural ath- letic program, has greatly aided the advancement of a greater Cen- tenary College. THE " C " CLUB Officers Elston Golson President Nickie Lester Vice-President Dean Duncan Secretary -Treasurer The Centenary " C " Club became active this year for the first time since 1941. The " C " Room was re- decorated and is used as a gen- eral meeting place for all athletes. Membership may be earned by gaining a letter in an intercollegi- ate sport. Some of the activities of the " C " Club during the past year have been an open house for alumni members on Home Coming Day, a dance celebrating Centen- ary ' s victory over Louisiana Col- lege, and the spcnsoring of the home basketball game conces- sions.
