The resulting tie was determined by percentages; Louisiana College re- ceived 262; Centenary, 260; and Southwestern, 258. Thus less than two thirds of one per cent separated first and second places, and second and third places. May 3 Girls ' State Oratorical Contest at Natchitoches.
