compllshed much flnanclally In thlllklllg of a way to earn money
we fmt upon th ldea of paylng monthly dues of ten cents each per
member Thls money has been put ln the bank where It IS now earn
In manv other r spects however the Sophomore Class has been
active Most of the members have shown thelr school Splrlt by takmg
part ln the dlfferent act1v1t1es of the school Boba publlc speaklng
prlz s were taken by Sophomores Jeanne Wake and Robert Young
Thls speaks well for the vocal powers of the class
When the Cattaraugan Staff was selected last fall we found that
several Sophomor s vsere elected to xmportant posltlons In fact the
Buslness Manager of the Cattaraugan IS a Sophomore
The Sophomores have also furnlsfled thelr share of basketball
m n Most of these men were out all season ready to fxght for thelr
school and at the end of the season they recelved squad letters for
thelr efforts At the clos of the season three of the Sophomores
Robert Young Gerald Engllsh and M1lt0H Potter were clflosen from all
the men plawng lll the lnter class gam s to hold posxtlons on the All
A good share of the tenms team IS made up of Sophomores and
we are also r presented ln baseball Others of the class take part IH

of these boys rece1v d a varslty letter except H1tch1ngs who was un
able to f1n1sl1 the season although an able player I11 lnterclass bas

tem, Kysor Knopp and Taft all snowed the1r ab1l1ty 1n mflkmg baskets
