Book- of-Knowledge about the school. and keeper of the ofhce. has for the last three years always been ready' with a helping hand and a smile. Nlrs. Xlfensley. who is one of the finest general secre- taries the school has eyer had. spent her first year at Catonsxille this year. Nlrs. Hines. who is always ready with change for an dollar. is the new accountant for the school. Working with these women is a group of students who get at lot of good practice in typing. filing. answering the phone. greeting visitors. and other helpful oliice duties. This group hrings to nlind another organixua tion of students which is yery important around schoolfthe monitors. linder the ahle direction of Nlr. Walhurn they have heen working since a week before school opened. They guided us to the right classes during the first few days of school. and now they keep their posts in the halls making sure traHic flows smoothly. She taught mathe- matics for most of her thirty-one years here. hut she was trainecl in German ancl Latin also. Miss Schwartz has tray eletl wrlely in lfurope. Canada. and the l'nitecl States. Although she sees most uf us at one time or another throughout the year. she misses classroom contacts. Her colleagues. Miss llayis. Miss joselyn. Miss Barnes. Miss lluyal. Nlrs.
