Lorraine Kupnicki’s high honors added luster to the Academic Commercial group. successful sum ii iis mm liitiiirtTinv Jiimin On September 7, 1948, the class of 1952 be- gan its search for truth at The Catholic High School. In our freshmen year, alxmt 300 ever- greens found new and deeper meanings in the great truths presented through the l asic cur- riculum: Latin, English, algebra, world history, art, music, and religion. That year was darkened by the death of a lieloved classmate. Kathleen Quinn. Persevering lalxirs of the faculty instilled in us deep loyalty to the ideals of TCHS and laid the bed rock for further development. In this senior year, we 227 continued more specialized junior study: I-at in-Science and Mod- ern Classical courses for the professions; Aca- demic Commercial and General Business for the world of finance. In September we elected Joan Hogan president; Imogene Fromhart vice-presi- dent ; Elizabeth Amann treasurer; and Virginia Novotny secretary. At that time we planned the year’s activities: September Freshman Day: ktolier Review Drive; November play; Christ- mas entertainments; February Troubadour Drive and Operetta: March Spring Concert and Bis- hops’ Campaign for the needy; April Prom. Mu- sicate; May 26 trip to Riverview Beach, Junior- Senior Day, Alumnae Dance, and May Proces- sion. Now, at this printing, we have completed probably the four most important years of our lives, stamped indelibly with the sacred character of our Catholic education.
