-r Section 4 3 Section 4C What an outstanding event was the day 4B of 49 met foi the first lime. It was destined to lie a year to remember. Always cooperative, 4B soared above their goal in the Catholic Review campaign and captured second place among the juniors. We suffered no luck of brains and ability. Cath- erine Lorden and Mary Jackson contributed superior work in typing: Carolyn Simon was a faithful honor student. Sports played an important role in our extra curricular activities. Hilda Clancy and Martha Ralston were our able contribution to Junior Varsity, and the cheerleaders proudly accepted Angela Sloniba among their ranks. Nancy Annarino and Margaret McNeill were elected to C.S.M.C., and Helen Parrish and Mary Lou Lubertinc took over Legion of Decency. Section 4R has a good deal to be thankful for; a year of memorable events to be passed on to future members. Cooperation, generosity, loyalty! That's what 4 C's made of. In the Review Campaign they attained third place in the sophomore class and also made a very good showing in the Library Campaign. This class was wise in the selection of the follow- ing representatives: C.S.M.C., Alvina Oberlc and Pat Russo; Sodality. Margaret Seebergcr and Frances Tarino; Highway, Dolores Bonicu und Anita Morningstar; A. A., Pal Ryan, and Legion of Decency. Janet Dannanfelser and Teresa Yanu .i. They can always depend on these girls to keep them well informed on what is going on concerning these activities. Room 16 is a pleasant place to visit. It is bright and cheerful, but its main object is the interesting Bulletin board. With the help of God and of His Mother, they will endeaver to keep their lives as bright as that Bulletin board.

When these girls arc no longer together, may they still keep in mind to ulways strive ahead for the greater honor and glory of God.
