Evidently this is not one of those Spanish classes where the seniors plowed tediously through such lessons as probability in present and past time,” imperatives—familiar and polite,” and subjunctive mood.” Each Spanish student was assigned a different noun or action word for illustration on small poster paper. Here we find the girls of Spanish II watching their classmates post the finished products. Facing Eileen Marlatt, whose back is to the reader, we have Mary Wirkert and Fidelis Rattman. Helen Tetkowski and Jean Nachodsky are help- ing Margaret Graucr, and the little one in the rear is Geraldine Folio. It is hoped that the lessons, skits, prayers, hymns, songs, and dances so happily learned, will help nurture the understanding we need with the many people who speak the soft and fluid Spanish that is always so pleasant to the ear.
