Reading a Catholic article a day, helps keep the devil and his evils away,” is the motto of the Sodality during its campaign to col- lect Catholic magazines for shut-ins. To our school patron, St. Francis of Assisi, we owe the origin of the beautiful custom, the Christmas Crib. This devotional custom is re-enacted every year by Catholic High students, and J. Gravatt, Section 5C repre- sents the student body in this picture before the Crib.
