Closely allied to science is Mathematics. The seniors who take Trigonometry assure us that it requires careful thought and accurate figuring. If students but carry over these faculties into daily lives, every day problems will be as easily solved as a complicated problem in trigonometry. Trig” requires thought; problems require patience; life requires logic. To this end mathematics lends a helping hand, as Dorothy Geary, Frieda Chetelat, Sabina Flynn, Constance Quinn will attest. iPfy sics and 'Uxiyonomztxic junctions. . . . The woman was, is, and will be for all time the homemaker. Careful bal- ancing of the family bud- get is a primary require- ment for a peaceful, effici- ent home. If that be the case, girls in this mathe- matics class—I.illian Fran- cik, Mildred Guston, Al- bina Karbowniczek and Florence Kordonski — feel secure about the future, for they have learned to balance a budget down to the last penny.
