EDWIN RAYMOND BANISZEWSKI WILLIAM JOHN BEI-IR HOLY 'rnmiri' Barney In the good sense of the words, Barney is smooth, suave, yet unsophisticated. A loyal Prep follower, he attends all sports events faithfully and lends vocal assistance to the sweating athletes. Ed would like to become an accountant one day. Gannon College, either presently or subsequently, will be the institution at which Barney will learn the secrets of addition and sub' traction in relation to using red or black ink. This lad's life will never be dullg he won't permit it. sr. ANDaBw's k'Willie That Freshman you see leaning over a drawing board at Gannon is Bill Behr. Yes, he has one of his loud bow ties around his neck. While at Prep, Willie made a person happy just by talking to him. Although this friendliness is only one of many fine qualities, we feel it is his best. The world could stand more friendly people like William. We hope that his work as a draftsman will be just as bright as his friendly word and contagious smile. JOHN PETER ABBATE PAUL GERALD ASHWORTH sr. PATRICKlS sr. ANDREW,S Johnny He is a quiet lad until one begins to talk baseball. Then he becomes loud in his praises of his favorites, the Pittsburgh Pirates. Gifted with a hne sense of humor, John has always been one of the most popular fellows in the class. At present he is undecided about his vocation. Radio and business hold equal attraction for him. For a time the United States Marine Corps will open its ranks to Johnny. Good luck, boy! Success is yours for the asking. Ash The fellow with a winning smile is bound to do well. So they say, so say we about Paul. A Varsity letterman in football, he showed that courage and spirit which are necessary for achievement. Lifting that veil which hides the future, we find that Ash will attend either Gannon College or St. Bonaventure's to prepare himself for advertising. We think that he will find his friends all plugging and praying for him to develop into a super' salesman. E . C . JOSEPH ANTHONYPAUGUSTINE LELAND JONATHAN BAILEY sr PAUL s Wallio Should this young man ever find pharmacy too onerous or exacting he might easily take the place of any t ilented member of the Band he showed ability on the trumpet and the drums In swimming and water polo he did his share to keep Prep above water Joe plans to study at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy All we ask is that Wallio make certain that the concoctions he mixes are good HOLY nosARY Bales This boy is a gentleman More than that he is quiet studious and loyal During his four years with us he has Light and Heet afoot Bales was one of our best track stars And he approached this sport with the same determina tion and perseverance with which he studied Mechanical engineering is his choice of a profession To go along with this selection he prefers Carnegie Tech as the school comedian. Wit and humor are native ,to him. As a always ranked among the top ten students of the class.

JAMES RAYMOND BLAKELY RICHARD STEPHEN BLENNER J sr. PETERQS Jimmy A frown is a rare, unwelcome visitor on Jim's counf tenance. He makes friends easily and keeps them in the same manner. This talented youth was one of the stars on the swimming and water polo teams, a cheerleader, a member of the Band, and a convincing wolf in the PrepfVilla play, Peg O' My Heart . His Irish wit and his laughing voice make him popular. Any group of teenfagers will welcome him into its midst. We think that James will be a very line architect. s'r. JULIAQS ..Dick.. Deep spirituality is never more noticeable than when it resides in an unassuming nature. It is this side of Dick's character which leads him to think frequently and seriously of the priesthood. Two years at Gannon College will help him arrive at a definite decision. This classmate has a studious, quiet, solid attitude which earned for him the respect and regard of all. Should he so decide, the title of Reverend will go well before his name. E Y C M GEORGE JOSEPH BOKOL RONALD JOHN BORCZON Hou PAMu.v George Were he not planning to study drafting this fellow can sing And as a student he was always in the first third of the class Some of his close friends call him Big George for he stands over six feet He was a member of the Glee Club 1 cooperative person in all class activities and a loyal Prepster His powerful booming voice has been heard many a time as he shouted encouragement to a Prep athlete How TRINITY Ronnie Varsity letterman chairman of the Senior Prom worker There you have an accurate appreciation of Ronald This man has the philosophical disposition which would look well on a teacher As a matter of fact Ron plans to become an instructor in physical education And if he keeps the same fine clear Catholic outlook that he now possesses Coach Borczon will be a great help to Catholic youth Holy Cross will help him to achieve these things C E Q U A 1 , M B O N U ,Qi might become an expert ventriloquistf Eesides that, he member of the yearbook stff-and in all things, a hard
