Proyer ln keeping with our constitution of the Marian Chapter of the National Honor Society--to provide special devotion to the Blessed Virgin--the Mar- ian Chapter sponsored a May day program. The singing of hymns, the crowning of the Blessed Virgin, the brief and most appropriate address by Father Mountain, and the recitation of the Rosary and Act of Consecration to the Blessed Virgin by the student body were all a part of this most beautiful program. Crowning Our Blessed Mother are: Joan Sieracki, Mary Roemer, Joann Holmgren, and Joyce Brown. Work To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the founding of the National Honor Society at Cathedral the Marian Chapter sponsored a school assembly. The senior members acting as preceptors, explained the ideals of the Honor Society-character, leadership, scholarship, and service. The lighting of the candles symbolic of these ideals, the beautiful and inspiring address by Father Mountain and the enrollment of the new members were all part of this most impressive ceremony which few of us will ever forget. Present members of the Marian Chapter are: Seniors-Barbara Cisewski, Ellen Enright, Pauline Fix, Mary Glenzinski, Dorothy Kierlin, Doris Koscianski, Marie Lemieux, Marlene Liebe, Joan Peplinski, Joann Vondrasek, and Carol Wenzel. Juniors-Joan Bilder, Joyce Cyert, Bonita Daniel, Joan Holmgren, Carol King, Dorothy Koutsky, Patricia Mauszycki, Mary McShane, Jane Pellowski, Mary Rollinger, Jane Schneider, Sandra Sheridan, Shirley Slaggie, Patricia Vondrasek, Barbara Wicka, and Virginia Wright.
