VVork The body, too must receive care, To prepare for this work ol caring lor the body the girls take a Home Nursing Course, in which they learn all the essentials tor the home care of the sick, This will be a great help in caring for a family later on in lite. l-lere we find Janet Larson getting some first hand experience on her very willing patient, Joan Kulas. Prayer . . . there was her ardent longf ing to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. . . This ardent longing is al- so found in the girls at Cathe- dral. Daily communicants are not scarce. We shall always remember particularly the l-irst Firday ot each month when we prayed together and then received Our Blessed Lord into our hearts. Saint Maria Goretti provides for us a beau- tiful example of the love we should have tor Holy Come munion, for never was Jesus more welcome in a human heart than in hers. The girls have quite a time find- ing out the difference bea tween ide , ite , and ate, Barbara Cisewski, Judith Kryzer, Martha Winkels, and Eleanor Cysewski seem to be in the process of dis- coving a new element. Work A clicking of keys can usually be heard issuing from the typing room. The secretarial field should find some excellent newcomers among the girls who are re- ceiving their training here at Cathedral. Donna Hahn, Danuta Staron, Rosetta Ramczyk, Patricia Klink, and Mildred Schultz are getting in a little practice. Work Pin, baste, sew, These familiar words can always be heard in the sewing room from our future homemak- ers, Pictured in this sewing circle are Shirley Rietz, Joan Peplinski, Audrey Ten! tis, and Joan Degnan worka ing on their garments.
