A spirit of self-sacrifice must govern your every act. You must be willing to persevere even when apparent disaster stalks your path. The standard of the Cross is your victory banner. Hold it high above you and with a steady hand. When there are insurmountable difficulties before you, know where to turn for aid. Never feel so sure of yourself as to think that you can walk alone. Only he is deserted who wished to have it so. You have chosen a great patron for your class. He will see you through every trial, every injury, every disappointment, if you give him a chance at the right time. Match his offer with your confidence.
