We, the Epistle staff, wish to give a very special thanks to you. Mitch. 107 Cathedral's newspaper staff for 1982 83 had a great advantage over staff members of the past, according to Roger Loomis, advisor. For the first time in Cathedral's history, a journalism class was offered. Students practiced journalism skills such as writing and layout. “This year's newspaper is three times better than past papers, and it has more articles to read”, said Mr. Loomis. “Our paper compared highly to any high school publication in the area.” Coach Kizzirc. history teacher, adds that “the overall design of this paper is more appealing to read. This year's emphasis was on writing good stories and giving more coverage to the elementary students. “If journalism students use the things they learn in class to their benefit, they will be able to develop responsibility. aggressiveness and character”, said Loomis.
