FRESHMEN FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS Sue Crouse, Secretary; Joan Staley, Treasurer; Danny Fesperman, President; John Golladay, Vice-President. Excitement filled the air as we, the Freshman Class, entered the Catawba College scene those beginning days of school in September. For the first few weeks we were the most popular class on campus ; events were even held in our honor. After awhile we were no longer new and were distinctly labeled the lowest of the underclass- men. As the year rolled on, our former feelings of be- wilderment, confusion, and uncertainty turned into confidence as we became quite familiar with our new alma mater and everything related to it. We were becoming an integral part college life. We look forward to summer vacation, but with the coming of next fall will anxiously anticipate our return to Catawba College.
