urt Gymnasts With only two returning lettermen, the gymnastics team is faced with an uphill battle in defense of their city title, predicts coach Preston Ritten- house. The team centers around lettermen Ied Deutschman specializing in all around and sidehorse and Roy Soza in all-around and free exercise. Backing the squad will be Bill Sterner, high bar and parallel bars, and Fred Leahy on the high bar. The team will be com- posed mainly ot members entering varsity competition for the first time. Although the team is weak in tram- poline and tumbling, coach Rittenhouse adds that ii the team improves as the season progresses, and if our all around men steadily score high, CHS could win its eighth straight city championship.
