During an after school golf tournament junior Cindy Larsen putts on the Cliff Manor green. The goal of physical education is to promote good health and teach girls teamwork and sportsmanship. In- dividual sports such as gymnastics are offered as well as team sports. P.E. is a requirement for underclass- meng seniors may take it as an elec- tive. The course provides relaxation and the necessary exercise tor physi- cal fitness. Playing a competitive game of volleyball senior Sheila Barry attempts to return the volleyball to her opponents while her teammates watch her. Watching a close match between other tennis players before their match begins, are Varsity tennis team members junior Sue Beeston and returning Letterman senior Linda Huffman. We Will improve with every match and should have a winning season, commented tennis mentor Miss Norma Hyatt after the first matches. Number one on the team is Mary McGuire, a transfer student from Minnesota, While Linda Huffman and Georganne Barnes return as varsity lettermen. Sue Bees- ton and Marcy McNally come from last year's IV squad.
