Judy Allen takes charge of a meeting of the Student Federation Delegation at which an important topic is being discussed. Victoria Kalil Judy Allen President 34 Delegation Acts as Liason For Students and Council The Student Federation Delegation acts as a go-between for the student body and the Stu- dent Council. Not only do the students find out what the Council is doing but the Delega- tion gives the students a chance to give their opinions about school issues. The Federation Delegation is particularly important to the council in aiding with projects which concern the entire student body. If the council does not know how the student body will react to an issue, it will present the issue to the Dele- gation to find out the opinion of the student body. Although the Delegation does not origi- nate any projects of its own, it helps the Coun- cil with any of its problems that may need attention. The Student Federation vice-president, Judy Allen, was chairman of the organization. Dar- lene Hanson served as the secretary. Each homeroom elected one representative. Because of this wide representation of the student body, it did act as a good sounding board of school issues. Meetings were held bi-monthly in the cafeteria during homeroom. However, extra meetings were called when necessary. Zi L1 Www fl! 252 f L .v ,..
