A. : ' Q , iff :- 7 X . ,,,, Dancing, tennis, swimming, and skiing are among the inter- ests of Freshman Class vice-pres- ident, Judy Cooke. As vice-pres- ident she assisted the president in any way she could and ofliciated in his absence. Freshman Mold Successful Class In an exciting election Kelly Hanson was chosen president, Nancy Cooke vice- president, Judy Cooke secretary, Joe Breck, Darcy Poole, Chuck Roberts, and Lynn Spencer council, and Barbara Ewing and Bonnie Underhill court mem- bers. Shortly afterwards the rest of the members of the advisory board were picked. After the election, the advisory board got under way and decided the ac- tivities that the class would participate in during the year. A skating party was held on December 9 at Rollerama. Much hard work and planning went into the class dance which was held in March. There were over 500 freshman this year. They came from several different junior high schools in Tucson and from schools from all over the nation. The junior highs in Catalina's district have furnished the majority of students how- ever. In spite of this fact they have united to become a successful class. The class has much to look forward to in its sopho- more, junior, and senior years. The class sponsor was Warren Kaler. 4'?WN fevw Nw 108 Like her twin sister, Judy, Nancy helped to promote class activities in the Freshman Class. Being a member of Girls' League, Rainbow Girls, and the Junior Red Cross filled a busy year.
