240 Power Tools Boost Per ormance Alan Benson prepares to leave class after wood shop. Industrial Arts classes at Castro Valley encompassed the fields of carpentry, me- chanics, electronics, land de- sign, forestry, art metals and mechnical drawing. Boys Cand an occasional girly taking these courses learned to han- dle tools, work with metals and wood, tend plants, worked on automobiles and electronic devices and made architec- tural drawings.
