Classroom instruction was only one of the many activities that teachers at C.V. concerned themselves with this year. Realizing that instruction does not end in the classroom, teachers Worked long extra hours in order to give their students the best possible educa- tion. Members of the faculty at Castro Valley advised clubs, served on committees handling student affairs, such as Junior Prom and Senior Ball, and did individual tutoring for some students. This close relationship between faculty and students here at Castro Valley insured that evervone ,qot the maximum benefit from their classes.
