216 Spartans owed a debt of gratitude to the personnel at Castro Valley who performed a variety of specialized jobs. These were the special services personnel who taught Drivers' Education and managed the library. Mr. John Brosnan and Mr. John Mclntyre taught the fundamen- tals of safe driving to sophomores in simulators in a trailer on campus and in behind-the-wheel training. Another special service worker was Mr. Harry Dunivan, librarian. Mr. Dunivan worked hard to pro- vide a quiet and well- organized library for Spartans to do homework and study.
