Number one among these was the opening of Canyon High in September. The other important oc- curances of the past year were the flexible-sched- uling experiment atCanyon and the unification and tax election in December. District Administrators DAVID DICKIE Director of Administrative Services Make Policies During the 1964-1965 school year Dr. Lawrence Ramm and Mr. David Dickie carried out the policies formulated by the Board of Trustees. Dr. Ramm, the district superintendant, and Mr. Dickie, Director of Administrative Services, worked on a program that would train students who were interested in the industrial vocational arts make them eligible for immediate job placement. Dr. Ramm's and Mr. Dickie's new plans and programs, such as flexible scheduling at Canyon High, did much to create a progressive atmosphere in Canyon-Valleyltligh School District. Much of their attention was also focused on unification of the school districts.
