Surrounded by her court, Sandy Wel was crowned Spartan Sports Queen f 1964. After her presentation to the gran stand audience at the Miramonte footba game, senior nominees Sandy Wells, Lin Grisel and Linda Cox were whisked off the Spartan Sweetheart Dance along wi class sweethearts Linda Mills,Yola Pont qjuniorgy, 'Kathy Reeves, Linda Vardy fsop omoresl, Jonnie Kay Neavill and Holly High qfreshmeny. With everyone who attended th dance voting on entering the Cafeteri anxiety among the contestants grew unt Sandy's name was announced. Along witht traditional bouquet of red roses, Sandy re ceived the crown from Janice Bibea last year's queen.
