Secretaries Keep School Business Going M1f. Poole takes on a new job at Castro Valley High as Business Manager. Along with regular school business he is in charge of ordering hooks and supplies and assigning student park- ing spaces. As Registrar of Castro Valley High School, Mrs. McAloney is pleased with the new student she has just enrolled. Miss Schulte takes a last glance at some papers she is about to hand to Dv. Bush in the main office. Mr. Memory, supply room clerk, shows Margo Nichols the correct procedure for assigning books.

',, 25 f-F TEEQES ff JOSEPH TORRES CATHERINE DAVIDOVICH Always there, maintaining spic and span order on the Spartan campus, Castro Valley custodians deserve much recognition. Be- sides keeping the grounds picked up and rooms swept and clean, they are always ready to help with problems and make any neces- sary repairs, such as replacing broken windows, and weeding the gardens and flower beds. Some of them often act as supervisors at school dances and work along with the P.E. department, helping to maintain the equipment. They also find time to perform special services for teachers, such as moving materials from room to room and bringing extra chairs or equipment when necessary, Christmas and Easter vacation, are their periods of thorough house cleaning when they wash and wax all the floors and mend any- thing that needs to be repaired. The custodians not pictured are George Adams, Donald Chisholm, Ernest Earle, Chester Galecki, Iver Poulsen, and Richard Smith. Custodians Maintain A Beautiful Campus Iver Paulsen checks the lights in the cafetorium for a fashion show. Candy must come in big boxes the Way Castro Valley High School students eat it says Russell Buckert. Delbert Wilson comes in very handy with his yard tractor.
