A sophomore student is confused as he comes to an intersection in the driver training trailer. These are our future drivers of tomorrow in the Drivers Training Trailer. Drivers Ed Prepares Future Motorists JOHN MCINTYRE JOHN C. BROSNAN Drivers Education, taken as part of second year Social Studies, is by far the most popular sophomore sub- ject offered. Not only are the fundamentals of safe driving studied in class but actual experience is also offered. A1- though all students cannot take the car on the road, more experience is gained than ever before since the arrival of the trailer. Equipped with twelve cars, each with auto- matic scoring devices, students can drive as they watch a movie. In both the car and the trailer Sophomores gain enough experience to understand and develop the necessary skill and judgment for good driving. Bob Thackston is about to climb into the driv- er's seat. A Driver Education coach checks on his stu- dents to make sure they are ready to go.
