Pep Club Promotes Meeting together each week to learn different song and cheer routines from the varsity song girls and cheerleaders, the members of Pep Club, make up the largest most enthusiastic organization in school. With each girl working on her own to im- prove her style and learn the different routines, they all unite together when game time comes along and turn their spirit and enthusiasm in the direction of support for the teams--the purpose for which Pep Club exists. Although all cannot be varsity cheer- leaders or song girls, each does have the chance to learn the routines and become familiar with them so that the rooting section develops into the mighty support it should be--full of school spirit and pride for its athletes. Other activites of this year's group also included presenting the Spartan Sweetheart Dance in co-operation with Block C.V,, decorating and serving at the Winter Sports Awards Presentation, taking care of basketball tryouts in the fall, and football tryouts in the spring, and organi- zing the all new card section at basketball games.
