Howard. the Seniors Leading the class of '64 to a trium- phant year s end, the members of the Senior Spring Class Council found them- selves constantly busy from the moment they entered office. Faced with the actual production of the Junior Prom, the off- icers Don Laifinouif, Presidentg Dale Briggs, Vice Presidentg LaVonne Gallo, Secretaryg Sheryl Lewin, Treasurerg Vivienne Duffb Girls League Represent- ativeg and Barry Cunningham, Boys League Representativeg did a great job in uniting the class for one of their main high school projects. Recreating the fantasy of Alice's wonderland with the prom theme of Through the Looking Glass they Worked long hard hours on decoration--trees, hearts, a mural and garden, and a rabbit hole through which the Juniors passed in order to enter the wonderland. Shortly after the Prom, they went on to plana series of money-making ventures in order to present a mem- orable senior gift, a primary effort of each graduating class. Their many pro- jects included a sweet sale on Valentine's Day, the Senior-Junior basketball game, and the annual production of the Sparti- gras. With the theme of That Was the Year That Was taken from the popular Friday night program of That Was the Week That Was the seniors produced one of the best Spartigras ever given at Castro Valley. Putting in an all out effort to organize the class, Senior officers did a great job of keeping up the enthusiasm of the class in the Grecian Festival--spring's equivalent to the fall Sound Off Rally.
