The Physical Education Department, headed by Mrs. Sondra Cannon and Mr. Roose- velt Bergmann, endeavored to build up the bodies as well as the minds of Castro Valley High School students. Through team work and individual efforts, the instructors attempt to build sportsmanship and self-reliance through sports. This year's activities were wide and varied. A new swimming pool, tennis courts and our finished football field stirred up much inter- est and enthusiasm in P.E. classes. R LA!
