The queens, Jerri Long and Arlene Stantield, were two very excited girls that mar- velous night. The maids of honor were Betty Grisel and Sandy Elder. The candidates were nominated by the football, basketball, wrest- ling, track, and baseball teams and voted upon by the students attending the dance sponsored by the Megaphone Club. The theme of the dance was Magic Mood, which put a spell of starlight over the gym and blended in with the eyes of the sports queens.
