There were about 250 couples attending the Prom. Each couple who entered the Mardi Gras was greeted by clowns and balloons. They then strolled through an entrance of a laughing clown's face and were greeted by the host and hostesses. They were served potato chips by cigarette girls, and danced around a carousel on which Benny Meltzer and his combo played. The committee chairmen that made the Prom possible were: Barbara Brauer, General Chairman, Sue Shanor, Refreshments, Suzi Udell, Decorations, Gail Lundstrum, Cloak Room, Jackie Sones, Bids, Bob Leach, Enter- tainment.

THE RALLY The Spartan Sound Off is the biggest rally of the year. Each class of the school com- pete against the others to win recognition as the best class of the school. The classes were judged on several items: Spirit, use of color, theme, mascot, and clean- liness in the lunch area. The first year of the school, the junior class won. The next year, the seniors won. The same class won the last two years in a row, but this year there was a big switch as the juniors took top honors. Their mascot was the devil and their color red and white. The seniors were second, soph- omores third, and the freshmen fourth. TMS i-in'-W' f4ffWff- A g3m,gf,a ..., me , - mmkwrw L ' ' . . if, yn-,Q ,-j1 :wx ,A 1 3' 'Q 2 1 V Senior Song Stuns The Freshmen
