CP NETMEN SHOW PROMISE This year Troy fielded a I2-man playing team for the first time in Metro League tennis competition. Built around five returning varsity Iettermen: Jack Pepiot, John Snyder, Steve Domasig and Craig Robinson who held down the singles spots, and Tom Campbell who headed the doubles contingent, the team also proved to be the strongest in our short history. The future looked even brighter as Tom Campbell, Joe Zullo and Steve Reay, although anchoring the doubles contingent, found their own and other doubles posi- tions challenged by a strong group of inexperienced but hard- working sophomores: Greg Domasig, Jonathon Henry, Steve Mar- tin, Mike Bogge, Butch Hynes, Jim Harbin, and Lamonte Thompson. Unexpected strength shown in the early-season lop-sided victory over always-tough Morse and Bonita Vista and the continued development of the squad's sophomores revealed a championship potential which could see fruition in a Metro Crown by season's end.
