TROY BOWS TO LANCERS In their first league encounter, the terrific Trojans suffered their first loss to Hilltop High on the Lancers home field. Although Troy was first to score on a strike from quarterback Ronnie lapala to tailback Billy Daniels, they were succumbed by the massive Lancer defensive wall, Trailing 27-6 at halftime, the Troian warriors tried a comeback rally on the passing arm of lapala and the receiving abilities of Gene Harvey, but fell short at the final gun 33-TS.
