the assiduous and important job of keeping attendance, absentee, and make-up slips re- corded is taken over by competent mrs. dorothy brown, she holds a great responsibility in our office staff and carries it through effectively. mrs. bonebrakes’s endless duty has been keeping records of all clubs and classes, she is the genial person at the bookstore who takes care of expenditures of the school and aids in selling books and materials to the students, she always has a cheerful smile for all. mr. curtis is fortunate to have such a capable and dependable private secretary as mrs. mild- red hannon. she manages her secretarial work efficiently and she takes care of all school correspondence and takes minutes at school board meetings. june harris, one of mr. brown’s helpers, works in the office every monday morning filling out absen- tee slips. 11

student council student council, governing body of our student body worked hard all year. They supervised the freshmen initiation at the mountain, attended the student council convention, sponsored dances, and handled the govern- mental porblems of our high school. the student body officers, leaders of the student council, function as the head of our student body. they are four outstanding students who have contributed much to make this a prosperous year. 13 -
