as superintendent of casa grande union high school, mr. curtis works to further the growth of our school, his guiding hand is felt in all departments as all stu- dents realize and appreciate the many tasks he performs for their benefit, each and everyone of us extend our graditude to him. ctguhs school board the casa grande union high school board members through their united efforts have performed a major job in the community, they are the ones that represent the people’s wishes regarding the school, and have spent long, hard hours trying to carry them out. we have an outstanding school which is due in a large part to the board’s devotion, they have achi- eved for us state-wide recognition in many educational fields, for this they deserve much credit. 10 -

the assiduous and important job of keeping attendance, absentee, and make-up slips re- corded is taken over by competent mrs. dorothy brown, she holds a great responsibility in our office staff and carries it through effectively. mrs. bonebrakes’s endless duty has been keeping records of all clubs and classes, she is the genial person at the bookstore who takes care of expenditures of the school and aids in selling books and materials to the students, she always has a cheerful smile for all. mr. curtis is fortunate to have such a capable and dependable private secretary as mrs. mild- red hannon. she manages her secretarial work efficiently and she takes care of all school correspondence and takes minutes at school board meetings. june harris, one of mr. brown’s helpers, works in the office every monday morning filling out absen- tee slips. 11
