,, l' ll ,l' M 3 LESTER GILLMAN Superintendent of Carthage Schools Congratulations to the student body of Carthage High School on a very successful year in both curricular and extracurricular activities. This yearbook, a result of good work by the annual staff, is an outstanding example of work throughout the school. It is interesting to note that the annual points out the improvements in facilities and services in the past year. More improvements will be made during the coming year. lt seems that a superintendent spends most of his time on the B's-buildings, bonds, blueprints, budgets, bids, bills, buses, and boundary lines. All this is neces- sary, however, since it is a well-known fact that good facilities and services result in an improved learning situation. And that is the real function of any school.
