We maintain rehearsals every day throughout the school year and practice during the summer once each week. We par- ticipated in the Christmas parade at Springfield this year. In April we plan to enter the On Parade contest at Joplin. Students who crave an active part in school can surely find it in this organization. cmigmyle Gcwpfi DIRECTOR Glen McDonald xg 6 DRUM MAJOR TWIRLERS Donna Dee Morton Rilda Belle Carter Carol Adams MASCOT Margaret DuVall Bonnie Whitehead Sally Cockrell Page 46A Pres V Pres Treas fbwm Emp fleaawmel Off ce Reporter Flags Betty Perkins Barbara Hildebrand Bell Ly res Evelyn Chambers Barbara Frey Tenor Drums Martha Garner Barbara Jomes Leona Reid Nola Thompson Cymbals Peggy Long Chrxstme Thompson Hazel Jenmngs Naom1 Keller Barbara Jolnes Darlene Osborn Snare Drums Jeraldme Boyd Delores Burrow Barbara Burt Loulse Deal Allene Glrdley Wilma Hoover Peggy Houston Hazel Jennmgs Helen Kaughman Delores Laney Margaret Maxwell Bobble Swlndle Loreta York Twlrlers Drum Major Donna Dee Morton Asst Major Bonme Whltehead Tvurlers Margaret Dul all Rllda Belle Carte1, Carol Adams Bonnie Whltehead Mascot Sally Cockrell Bugles Maxme Agan LOIS Borland Margle Dodson Elizabeth Hensley Ruth Fly Dorothy Kaughman Naomi Keller Dorothy Lavar Rosalie Lxngle Bully Swlndle Iavera Tatum Nathalene Taylor Delores Marshal Helen Steele Bass Drums Flag Bearers Darlene Osborn Joyce Leedy Josephine Smith Betty Stafford Page 47 i 1' s ' 6a4S6cJmJa,a bFI'Tl' 'NIBER Sthool bells rrng agarn Specral assemblw Qpecral assemblv On the grrdrron lrttsburg deferts Carthage Z0 0 Musrc rssemblx N Ireshmen Intellrgcnct Tr sts Pariter qprrngs Z1 Carthagr 11 bpecr 11 assemblx OL TOBER 4 0 Freshmen Readrng Tests IXeosho 13 Carthage 11 I P A Assembly Kuder Preference Test for Frtsh men Adxanced Glee Club xxrener roast 'Nevada 13 Carthage 0 Z7 Junror Red Cross enrollment Englrsh department presents as senrbly loplrn 11 Carthage 19 Trumpeteers present rsstmblr Mt Vernon 0 Carthage 0 N01 If NIBER Qu rrter ends Monett9 Carthage 1 arents Xrsrtatron nrht 'VIathemat1cs assernblx Lamar 6 Carthage 24 Barnvxarmrn Darss Fdxxards chosen queen 'lhcsraran Socretx presents assm 111 1 -Nurorr 11 Carthage 26 Speer 11 assemblx Webb Crtx 0 Carthage 14 DP CI' 'NIBLR 7 Junror Plar 12 J J C Choral Group presents 1 31 semblr Brg Lrght Tournament Basketball season begrns Neosho '31 Carthage 45 Lamar 90 Crrthage 54 Monett 48 Crrthage 23 il Chrrstmas xacrtron Chrrstmas dance C 1 A New Xcars Fxe dmte J XXI ARY Page 48 20 Mt Vernon 93 Carthage 53 bcrence department presents as sernblr Aurora 34 Carthage 58 Sophomore Class rssmmblx Lrmar 29 Carthage 411 Nlcosho 14 Carth Lge 41 l nd of semester Nlevada 36 Carthage al IFBRI N1 XRCH APRIL 'SI AY I 'J 91 9 Trl Club dance Joplrn 41 Carthage 33 Webb Crtx 79 Carthage 30 -Xptrtude Test for Senrors Monett 40 Carthage 42 8panrsh classes present 'rssemblx 'lit Vcrnon H C1rthage55 ARY Aurora 38 Carthage S5 Nlelodcers assemblr Lamar 78 Carthage 53 Neosho S8 Carthage 48 ltp Club presents assemblw Joplrn 59 Carthage 38 Nlexada 41 Carthage 52 Webb Crtx 61 Carthage 54 Sweetheart dance lreshman Class assemblx Casswrlle 50 Crrthage 28 Carthrgrnran xssemblw 'Vlonett 38 Carthage 50 Wlusrt Ftstrxal l nrollment R O T C presents assemblx R O T C Ball 'Vlusrt Festrxal Football and Basketball bxnquet Dramrtrcs Club assemblx 28 Sc 111o1 llaw French assenrbls Spccral rssembly Faster X rcatron -Xrrstonran Mother Daughter drn mr Sptech Department presents as sembl, 21 Operettr The Forest lrrnce R O T C rnspectron Altrurran drnncr Joplrn Mrlrtarw Ball 8111101 gsp du Jurrror and glllllil lrom N tonil Honor Socretx presents asscmblx Olxmpran Mother Drughter ban quct 18 Au ard dax s Iast dax for the graduates Senror Class assenrblr 'irbre and Cham haxrrde -hx ard asstmblr -Mx rrd Assemblv -Mxard asscmblr qchool bnlls lockrd up untrl Sep tamber I O O 7- ' ' 1' . 21- '- . 9-S ' j. 23- ' - ' . 10-L , ' 24- ' If L - ' I . 225- l I . 27-.
