BAND The Carterville Marching Band began the 1984-85 marching season by partici- pating in several parades: the Cambria La- bor Day, Carterville Free Fair Parade, and the Carterville Homecoming. The band also performed at all the home football and basketball games. The pep band at bas- ketball games is always a favorite of the crowd. The Band went to organizational con- test on April 13 and received a first place. They went on to Superstate to perform once again. The band rebuilt itself this year into an excellent and promising band for the future. -- ---1 SENIORS - FRONT ROW - T. Spencer, G. Johnson, A. Carney. SECOND - G. Hatton, A. Dawson, P. Kampwerth, D.
