STUDENT couucu. This year's student council was very ac- tive. They started off the year planning Homecoming, the parade and the dance. They sold candy grams at Christmas and carnations on Valentine's Day trying to raise money, which they donated to the Statue of Liberty and the Dream Factory. They also used their money to pay for pic- nic tables that students can use to eat on next year. Some of their other activities consisted of hosting Spring Week. Spring Week con- sisted of nerd day, hug day, Hawaiian Day and a Hawaiian Dance and Carnival. The student council attended a student districts meeting where they met with stu- dents from other schools and traded ideas. They also spent time talking to Mr. Newton about weighted grades. The stu- dent council finished off the year with a luncheon at Prime Time. W ,V , tmxazaiv, M Tierney Drew shows her school spirit on Hawaiian Day. -.
