tr WW Q0 SWEETHEART BANQUET n February 1 , the girls treated the bo-s to a Sweethe rt Banquet. The girls esc ed the boy o the beautiful red and silver de Ballroom at SIU. Couples arrived for pictures early before the meal was served. The dinner was wonderful and the live band Spectrum was excel- lent at the dance. The excitement built and the time for the crowning finally arrived. Jennifer Spence, the Mistress of Ceremo- nies, began announcing the queen candi- dates, selected from each class. Genola Murphy was elected to reign as the 1985 Sweetheart Queen. The Queen then be- gan her royal dance with the other candi- dates and their escorts joining in later. lt was a fabulous event, and an experi- ence not to be missed. -a 14!SWEETHEART BANQUET
