The event was co- ordinated by ENS Rasmussen Who went to great strides encouraging the crew to participate. On the day of the marathon, approximately fifty sailors showed-up ready to run the equivalence of a 26 mile mar- athon. The marathon had different options for a single one person challenge and teams that could run a relay style race, so only one member of a team will be running at a time.
