SCAN EAGLE is an unmanned aerial vehicle that is capable of tracking an obj ect of interest for a sustained period. A civilian crew of technicians deployed with CARTER HALL ill order to operate and maintain SCAN EAGLE. The above photos depict a routine launch sequence which involved setting flight quarters, taxiing the vehicle to the launch catapult, and deploying.
