Anniversary Greetings from COMPHIBPAC In twenty-five years of service to the Navy, USS CARTER HALL has served Amphibious Force Commanders in both the Pacific and Atlantic Fleets with distinction and dedica- tion. CARTER HALL'S performance during World War II, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and today in Vietnam has been in the highest traditions of the Amphibious Navy. This fine ship wears her years well.
