Little children strain to see the band members march by, with heads held high. The Carson Marching Band is no exception to this rule; if anything, they cre- ate more excitement than most. DRILL TEAM DAZZLE! COLT ' S DRILL TEAM LIGHTS UP WITH TALENT Perhaps it is the extra effort at a winning smile, perhaps it is that lively step inspite of rainy weather, perhaps what makes the Car- son Drill Team so special will remain a secret. The audience knows there is magic there, whatever the source. The remarkable preci- sion and patience it takes to form a well-balanced, skilled march- ing unit is well known. The Colt Team proves the old saying, practice makes perfect. Every game is a bit more exciting be- cause of the half-time shows provided by Band and Drill.
