The Carrollton G, A, A, was revived during the school year of 1951-52. This year the organization has 40 members with 5096 of these participating in the various activities. During this year we have earned money in various ways. The organization has dues of fifty cents a year, girls of our club helped sell refreshments in the Junior stand during the Greene County Tournament, A very successful dance was held during the first semester, and we had a bake sale in December, We plan to send one of our members to G. A,A, camp in june. A Mother- Daughter banquet was held in April at which girls re- ceived awards. To receive this award a member must earn 600 points, 100 of which are for a complete physical exam- ination. Physical education classes and organized after - g '-R li ...4,Q. , school activities supply part of the remaining points, Q -stllhsc' if-.Gm Our after-school activities were soccer, volleyball, basketball, bowling, soft-ball, and hikesfall containing skill tests which members can pass and receive addi- tional points,j Individuals can also earn additional points by keeping their own health rules and by partici- pating in unorganized sports of their choice. An award earner must also have a good record in scholarship and sportsmanship, Last fall ten of our members participated in the fall play-day at Brighton. The G, A, A, is organized for the health and recrea- tion of all high school girls. We enjoy ourselves very much as a group and urge all active, energetic girls to Join our organization, G,A. A.
