A STAR I BGR Unique in her capabilities, USS CARONQDD 97Ol stands out among the units of the Sixth Fleet as an example of deployable technology taken to its limit. This includes not only the advancements that the Spruance Class as a whole enjoys with gas turbine engineering, and the sophistication associated with the weapons systems, but a new twist is seen with Classic Outboard and Outlaw Shark electronic installations. As the eighth ship in her class, the CAFZON is the only Atlantic Fleet destroyer with both these new units, which extend her eyes and enable the shipboard strategists to plan their actions with the benefit of a more complete long range tactical picture. These systems are interfaced with computers, weapons, fnow including the Harpoon Cruise Missilel, and pieces of sensory gear such as radars, sonar and electronic warfare equipment.
